Dear Parents:

We will be having our second Karate Summer Camp at Advanced Tae Kwon Do. (There is a minimum of 20 students needed to open Summer Camp) We do not provide food or snacks! Parents must supply all snacks and lunches for children.

Children will be required to complete one hour of homework per day. This homework can be assigned by their teacher/parent. If you child does not come to Summer Camp with some type of school work, they will be assigned homework at the dojo. If your child has a specific educational need that you would like them to work on, we will assign specific homework to them to help them with any problem areas.

All payments are due on Mondays of every week in cash unless you pay for the month in advance, then payment can be made by check. Payments made after Monday are subject to a $25 late fee.

This includes two (2) Karate Summer Camp T-Shirts that must be worn daily to camp. Additional shirts available for only $15 each. Registration deadline for Tae Kwon Do summer camp is May 1, 2009. Late registration will be subject to an increased registration fee of $125 per child. FULL TIME – 4/5 Days Current Advanced Tae Kwon Do students who will be attending four (4) days or more per week: $100 per week – 1st Child, $85 for additional Children Children who are NOT current Advanced Tae Kwon Do students who will be attending four (4) days or more per week: $125 per week – 1st Child, $95 for additional Children ~This includes daily karate classes PART TIME – 3 Days or less Current Advanced Tae Kwon Do students who will be attending three (3) days or less per week: $75 per week – 1st Child, $65 for additional Children Children who are NOT current Advanced Tae Kwon Do students who will be attending three (3) days or less per week: $105 per week- 1st Child, $90 for additional Children ~This includes daily karate classes

Daily Summer Camp Schedule: Scroll down to see the daily camp schedule. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 7:30 AM Daycare open for drop-off: All parents must come inside the dojo and sign in their children. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 7:30 AM-9:45 AM Student Free Time: Students can bring books, games, video games, toys to the dojo. Their name MUST be on all items. We are not responsible for lost items. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 9:45 AM-10:00 AM Snack Time: Parents must provide snacks/drinks for their children. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 10:00 AM-11:00 AM Homework Hour: Students are required to bring homework or homework will be provided to them. Special needs can be addressed with the parents and special homework can be assigned. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Arts/Crafts Time- Students will be given various craft projects to complete during the week. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Lunch: Lunch must be provided by the parents. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1:00 PM-3:00 PM Park Time: Students will be taken to various local parks to participate in group activities such as basketball, football, soccer, etc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 3:00 PM Snack Time: Parents must provide snack/drinks for their children. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 3:00 PM-4:30 PM School Clean Up ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 5:00 PM Karate Classes begin ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 7:30 PM Last pick up for day care students. There is a late fee of $15 per every 30 minutes late to pick up a child.

** Once a week the camp will take a field trip to a local museum, animal park, zoo, skating rink, etc. We will advise you of the schedule of field trips one month prior to the Summer Camp start date. These activities will cost between $5-10 per child per week and must be paid to the staff members prior to the field trip date.**
If your child will not be able to attend a day that they have been scheduled, please contact us as soon as possible.

All students must be signed in (drop off) and signed out (pick up). Students can ONLY be picked up/dropped off by a parent or a person authorized by the parent. Parents MUST come in and sign in their child. Students must be signed out by parent AND staff member before leaving for the day. If your child will be picked up by someone other than the parent, the person must bring a photo id card or driver’s license.
